Message from the PTA President!

Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! On behalf of the El Oro Way PTA, we’re excited to kick off another year of learning, growth, and community.

The PTA is powered by amazing volunteers, and I’m honored to serve as your President this year. Our mission is simple: to provide programs and opportunities that enrich every student’s educational experience. From computer lab aide and PE programs to assemblies and field trips, the PTA funds and organizes experiences that aren’t covered by LAUSD but make a lasting impact on our kids.

This year, we’ve planned a full calendar of events, including the Kinder Meet & Greet, Family Nights, Spooktacular, Pinewood Derby, and more. These activities strengthen our school community and they’re only possible through your PTA membership, fundraising support, and volunteer time.

In addition to our annual Direct Donation Drive, there are also Indirect Donation opportunities to support our school. Many businesses have charitable giving programs that contribute a portion of sales back to organizations like ours. By simply linking your purchases to El Oro Way PTA, your everyday shopping can help fund valuable programs for our students.

Examples of Indirect Donation Programs:

· Ralphs Community Contribution Program – Register your Ralphs card and a portion of your grocery purchases supports El Oro Way.

· Box Tops for Education – Download the Box Tops app, scan your receipts, and watch the earnings add up.

· Restaurant Give-Back Nights – Dine at participating local restaurants on designated nights and a portion of sales comes back to our school.

Every contribution, big or small, stays right here at El Oro Way. We value transparency and teamwork, and we encourage families to join our general meetings, share ideas, and be part of shaping the year ahead. Join us at our first Association Meeting on September 5th at 8:30 am!

There are so many ways to get involved: become a PTA member, volunteer your time, support our fundraisers, or participate in indirect donation programs. However you choose to contribute, your involvement makes a real difference.
