Hello El Oro Way Families!

On behalf of the El Oro Way PTA, I’m excited to welcome all of our students and families to the 2024-2025 school year!
​
The El Oro Way PTA is a vibrant organization powered by our amazing volunteers, and I’m honored to serve as your PTA President this year. The PTA is dedicated to making a positive impact on our children and families by supporting programs and activities that enrich their educational experience. I joined the PTA to play a direct role in enhancing my children’s school and our broader community. Together, we provide vital resources like staff appreciation week, PE programs, assemblies, and field trips—essentials that are not funded by LAUSD.

These initiatives are made possible through your PTA membership, participation in our fundraisers, and volunteering at our school events. We invite you to join us in building a strong, connected school community. Our school thrives because our families are engaged and involved.
This summer, we’ve been busy planning a variety of fantastic events for the upcoming school year, including the Kinder meet & Greet, Family Nights, Spooktacular, Pinewood Derby, and more. These events are not just about fun—they’re about fostering a sense of community, and we need your support to bring them to life.

Every contribution to the PTA stays within El Oro Way, and all decisions are made collaboratively by our entire association. Transparency and teamwork are key to our success, and we encourage all families to attend our general meetings to learn, participate, and help shape our shared efforts.

We’re eager for each family to find a way to contribute to our school this year. Whether it’s becoming a PTA member, volunteering your time, or supporting our events, your involvement makes a difference. Our PTA board is a group of dedicated parents, who work together to support the needs and interests of students, their families, and teachers within a school community.
